Axiovert Training II: Advanced Fluorescence Acquisition

Approximate Time: 2 hours
Pre-requisite:Axiovert Training I: Introduction to the Axiovert 200M
__________________________________________________________________________

Having a fully motorized inverted microscope drastically increases experimental flexibility. Users can automate any combination of multiple fluorescent channels, time series, z-stacks or stage positions. Although this flexibility is indispensable, adding multiple dimensions to the image acquisition process can become somewhat overwhelming. In this training session, users will be taught how to setup, navigate, acquire and manage these multiple combinations or "sets". Topics covered include:

1. Introduction to Advanced Fluorescence Acquisition
2. Acquisition Settings
3. Constructing Single and Multiple Channels
4. Exposure Times
5. Stage Position
6. Z-Stacks
7. Time Series
8. Navigation
9. Acquiring Sets
10. Set Manager

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to discuss training on this microscope.
