Comprehensive Course on Fluorescence Microscopy


WCIF Image Quantitation

At our WCIF site, we have one dedicated image quantitation workstation equipped with various image analysis, image editing and viewer programs, including:

  • IMARIS - for 3D visualization and quantification
  • AutoQuant 64-bit - for deconvolution of widefield or confocal images
  • Zeiss ZEN LE browser - for viewing images taken on the confocal or widefield microscopes, or from the fluorescent slide scanner
  • Aperio ImageScope - for viewing, taking snapshots and analysing images from the Aperio scanner
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator - used for editing images for publication preparation
  • MS Office 2016 - with PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • ImageJ - open source image analysis software
  • CellProfiler - open source analysis pipeline software
